Bullet traps

CDUK can provide a variety of solutions and technologies to enable rounds to be captured safely and securely. Each trap system has its unique advantages and disadvantages.

The selection of either a soft bullet trap or hard trap depends upon:

  • Budget
  • Types of rounds to be used
  • Quantity of rounds to be captured
  • Modular, portable or fixed
  • Trap footprint restrictions
  • Intensity or predicted dispersion of firing
  • Level of on-going maintenance required
  • In-lane shooting or cross-lane shooting
  • Bullet storage, collection and lead disposal requirements
  • Range ventilation constraints
  • Availability of space.
